Hey bookdragons! How is your weekend going? Here it’s super sunny (FINALLY) and today I’m seeing a friend I haven’t seen in years. I’m just SO EXCITED!! So I’ll keep it short and sweet with today’s post 😉 Basically I just wanted to share with you the latest Indigo Book Box I was lucky enough to receive; it was inspired by We Hunt the Flame, and honestly, it’s my favorite box from them so far!!
What is the Indigo Book Box?
Every month, Indigo offers a book box containing a book (that was pretty obvious right?) and some goodies. The extra part? The book is SIGNED! And the goodies are exclusive to the box. Let’s see now what was inside this month’s box!
We Hunt the Flame – Indigo Book Box:
- a hardback copy of We Hunt the Flame, signed by the author
- A (super sweet) letter from Hafsah Faizal
- Two gorgeous bookmarks with a little charm and meaningful quotes from the book
- not one, not two but THREE candles from Icey Designs (aka Hafsah Faizal’s shop) inspired by Zafira, Nasir and the Isle of Sharr. They smell SO GOOD.
Between the candles (again, created by the author so the scents are PERFECTION) and the gorgeous bookmarks, I think you’ll understand why this box became my fav 😉 They are perfect and so unique!! If you were interested in We Hunt the Flame and wanted to treat yourself, don’t miss the chance, the quantities are limited 😉 You can check it more in details on Chapters!
Synopsis of We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal:
People lived because she killed.
People died because he lived.
Zafira is the Hunter, disguising herself as a man when she braves the cursed forest of the Arz to feed her people. Nasir is the Prince of Death, assassinating those foolish enough to defy his autocratic father, the king. If Zafira was exposed as a girl, all of her achievements would be rejected; if Nasir displayed his compassion, his father would punish him in the most brutal of ways.
Both are legends in the kingdom of Arawiya—but neither wants to be.
War is brewing, and the Arz sweeps closer with each passing day, engulfing the land in shadow. When Zafira embarks on a quest to uncover a lost artifact that can restore magic to her suffering world and stop the Arz, Nasir is sent by the king on a similar mission: retrieve the artifact and kill the Hunter. But an ancient evil stirs as their journey unfolds—and the prize they seek may pose a threat greater than either can imagine.
My review of We Hunt the Flame: it’s spoiler free 😉
