Hey guys! Back with this week’s TTT topic: my winter To Be Read! As I am participating in different challenges, I already have it ready for a while 😉 Of course, it is very snowy and Christmasy.
(Also, if you do not know what TTT is, you can read all about it at That Artsy Reader Girl.)
- Chocolat – Joanne Harris
- The Little Village Christmas– Sue Moorcroft
- Christmas at the little Clockhouse on the Green – Eve Devon
- The Bear and the Nightingale – Katherine Arden
- The Christmas secret – Karen Swan
- Christmas at Little Beach Street Bakery – Jenny Colgan (actually already read that one hehe)
- The Hotel Between – Sean Easley
- The Last Magician – Lisa Maxwell
- Truthwitch – Susan Dennard
- Wuthering Heights – Emily Brontë (this one has been on my winter TBR for YEARS!)
What about you? What’s on your Winter TBR?
See you for a cup!
Elise

Love the wintery/Christmas theme!
Ahhh, The Bear and the Nightingale is also on my TBR! I’ve been trying to read it for the past 2 winters and keep failing. But maybe 3 times the charm?
And ooh, I’ve read the Truthwitch! It was a pretty fun and decent fantasy–I hope you enjoy it!
Happy reading and happy holidays!
Here’s my TTT post if ya wanna check it out:

The Bear and The Nightingale is trés wintery! I read Les Misérables this year after it had been on my TBR forever, good luck with Wuthering Heights!

To be honest, I think the movie of Chocolat was better than the book. But it is good. I just prefer her St. Oswald books to these.
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
I was a bit afraid of that but I wanted to try! I’ll probably rewatch the movie lol
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
It’s just that… the book is contemporary, but the movie is set in the 50s, and the level of religiousness seemed to fit the 50s more than the 80s or 90s to me.
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
yes I see what you mean!

The Bear and the Nightingale is so good. I hope you enjoy it. I love the Chocolat film but I’ve never read the book. I can’t decide if I should pick it up on not. 🙂

I only watched Chocolat too but read another book from the author in this series so I thought why not try it!

Love all the snowy books on your list, very cozy. I haven’t read any of these though. On my tbr I put some thrillers released in 2019 I still want to read and some more seasonal books.
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
Putting seasonal reads is still new to me but it’s a habit you catch fast!

The Bear and the Nightengale is one of my favorite winter reads ever.
I really need to pick up The Last Magicians!

Truthwitch is on my Winter TBR too, and I’ve seen it on a lot of other peoples TBR’s as well – there must be something about it that feels like a wintry read.
