Top Ten Tuesday: My 2020 Spring TBR!

Hey guys! Quite a simple theme for this week TTT as we talk about our Spring TBR, but I like that too! It helps me to put down a list, when it comes to respecting it :p

  1. Supernova – Marissa Meyer: I was supposed to read that one when it came out in December I think… oooops!

  2. The Toll – Neal Shusterman: I finally read Thunderhead last month, I’m ready now to finish this trilogy! Or at least I hope…

  3. Empire of Storms – Sarah J Maas: reading House of Earth and Blood really put me in a book hangover and I feel like finishing SJM other series would help me recover haha.

  4. An Enchantment of Ravens – Margaret Rogerson: one of the oldest books on my shelves! Time to get it out!

  5. Akata Witch – Nnedi Okorafor: This one came out almost 10 years ago in English but it just got translated in French with allowed me to discover it… and add it to my TBR!

  6. The city we became – NK Jemisin: Super excited to have this new one as an excuse to discover NK Jemisin, but honestly I simply want to read one of her books! Any of her books!

  7. Maya of the Rising Dark – Rena Barron: I just fell for this cover, and I’m always down for some middle-grade fantasy!

  8. Chosen Ones – Veronica Roth: I’m super curious to discover the Divergent author in a new adult series! And with super-heroes!

  9. The House of Hades – Rick Riordan: It has been too long, I need to continue and finish the Heroes of Olympus series!

  10. The way of kings part 2 – Brandon Sanderson: Because in French the first book of the series was cut in 2, I still have the HUGE part 2 to read. And I simply really want to!

I realize now that this list is very fantasy-oriented, but well that stays my favorite genre haha! What about your Spring 2020 TBR?

    I enjoyed Supernova but.. I feel like Nova got waaay too lucky a lot of the time with the consequences of her actions? Could’ve been me though, haha.
    As for The Toll.. I should totally read it. I was furious when finishing Thunderhead and having to wait for the sequel and now.. it’s waiting for me to actually read it? Although, in my defense, my boyfriend has been « currently reading » it for a couple of months now and he gets annoyed when I start reading a book he’s reading. [Pretty sure he hasn’t read a page in two months now but okay..]

    I’m excited for The City We Became as well! Also, I stopped at Empire of Storms in my ToG read…I was bingeing the series and needed a break, but never picked it back up. I even have the rest of the books! I need to finish the series!

    Je reconnais que moi aussi je dois absolument continuer Les héros de l’Olympe (j’en suis au même point que toi) et j’aimerais également découvrir les parties 1 et 2 du premier tome de la Voie des Rois. Je n’entends que du bien sur cette série en ce moment donc il faut vraiment que je la commence !
