Hey bookdragons! In my family, we all have read Agatha Christie at some point, I remember the old editions at my grandparent’s houses, and my mom re-reading them frequently. So, when I saw a historical fiction exploring some mystery from Agatha Christie’s past, I had to try it! And I’m giving you 5 reasons why you should too 😉

Hey bookdragons! A little bit ago, I read Legendborn and fell in love with it! Maybe it was not perfect, and had some too YA-ish for me elements, but beyond that, it was so incredible in terms of magic, and in the unique perspective the author offers with a Black character, that it blew my mind! I was so excited for it that I even did a reading vlog 😉 But here, I’m doing something a bit shorter, just to get you curious about it and hopefully make you add it to your TBR 😛

Hey bookdragons! Today I am part of the blog and booksta tour organized by Simon and Schuster Canada for These Violent Delights, on the White Flowers side! This book was definitely a dare for me, so out of what I would usually go for, a historical romance with star crossed lovers… usually not my fav. But I was curious enough by the Shanghai setting, and the mystery elements, to try it and I have ZERO regrets! These violent delights was a very good surprise and here are a few reasons why you should add it to your TBR 😉

Hey bookdragons! I am SO excited to talk about today’s book: How the King of Elfhame learned to hate story. First, you must know I’m a big fan of The Cruel Prince trilogy, I love Jude, Cardan and this lush and dangerous fairy world that Holly Black created. But, I was not sure about short stories on Cardan, it felt a bit like milking the magical cow you know? How wrong was I! This book is a must read for all the fans of the trilogy!! As I find it hard to do reviews on short stories, I’m gonna do it a bit different today 😉

Meet the characters of…As the shadow rises!

Hi everyone!! Today I decided to do something a little bit different to talk to you about As the Shadow Rises by Katy Rose Pool! If you remember, last year I read the first book of this epic fantasy trilogy, There will come a darkness, and really enjoyed it. Well the sequel did not disappoint! But, instead of doing a regular review, I decided to make some characters cards because one of the great strengths of this book is its set of unique characters. So here we go (might be spoilery if you haven’t read book one!) 😉
